Triple C Training, LLC (aka. Mindy Kay Ray)

I stumbled upon Mindy Kay Ray and her firearms training company in 2020. Prior to that I searched years for someone to help me learn to properly use my pistol that a good friend gifted me because he was concerned for my safety when my husband traveled. Years went by and I found nothing that made me feel comfortable and confident. I found nothing specifically targeted for women. A few years would go by, and I would resume my search and still nothing. Then one day during the height of the pandemic, I was reading a featured article in TSRA’s magazine about a women’s shooting group called The Well Armed Women. I had my “ah ha” moment and found a chapter close by and joined. Soon after I met Mindy Kay Ray, the chapter leader. I was thrilled that she was the owner of a firearms training company (Triple C Training) that was geared specifically for women. I signed up for her LTC class on Labor Day and boom, my journey began. Since then, I have taken almost every training class Mindy has offered. I am in my sixties with no prior training or experience with firearms. Her team of firearm trainers are top notch, kind, patient, humble, and exuberant in their mission to train women to be their own protector. What is so awesome about Mindy is she never feels she knows it all. She is constantly getting trained herself, so her students become benefactors of her newfound knowledge.
